KOREAN DRAMA SOUNDTRACK

Hello readers! How was your day? Hope you had a good day today. This bless Wednesday, I am going to share something related to Korean Drama. I just finished watching Eulachacha Waikiki and that drama was so refreshing, funny and of course, recommended for you. Maybe for the next blog post I will share about that drama. As you can see from the title, today’s blog post will be about Korean Soundtrack. I’ve been browsing here and there to find this best soundtrack for ya’ll. 1. LYN – MY DESTINY (MY LOVE FROM THE STAR OST)

Lee Se Jin or known as Lyn is one of Korean singer that was born on 9 November 1981. She has been singing for so many Korean drama soundtracks with her soft and beautiful kind of voice. She has been active being a singer since 2001. Back in Time (Moon Embracing the Sun) and My Destiny (My Love from the Star) are her best hit. My Destiny was released in 2014 and has wins a lot of awards, which are Best OST (soundtrack) and the Top Searched Song of the Year.

2. DAVICHI – THIS LOVE (DESCENDANT OF THE SUN OST) 

Davichi is a pop duo from South Korea that was formed in 2008. The vocalists consist of Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung. They have been active being a singer since 2008. This Love (Descendant of the Sun) has been nominated as the Best Original Soundtrack in 2016 at Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). Other Davichi’s best hit are Don’t Say Goodbye, Love and War and 8282.


3. AILEE – I WILL GO TO YOU LIKE THE FIRST SNOW (GOBLIN OST) 

Born in 30 May 1989, Amy Lee or known as Ailee is a Korean-American singer and songwriter. She was active being a singer since 2011. Ailee with her powerful voice has been winning the Best OST Award for I Will Go to you like the First Snow in 2017 at Asia Artist Awards. Ailee, with her other soundtrack which is Goodbye My Love was also winning the Best Original Soundtrack in 2014 at APAN Star Awards.


4. YOON MIRAE – A WORLD THAT IS YOU (THE LEGEND OF THE BLUE SEA OST)

Natasha Shanta Reid was born in 31 May 1981. She was born in United States and is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is known as Yoon Mi Rae, and was active being a singer since 1997. Yoon Mi Rae wins the Best Original Soundtrack in 2013 at MelOn Music Awards. A World That is You or known as You Are My World was released on 2016 and being the soundtrack for The Legend of the Blue Sea.


5. KASSY – GOOD MORNING (FIGHT FOR MY WAY OST)

Kim So Yeon or Kassy is a Korean singer and rapper and was born in 6 October 1995. She was debuted on 25 August 2015 with her very first single which is In My Bed. She was singing the soundtrack for Fight for My Way in 2017, Good Morning. In 2018 she was producing her mini album, I Want Love that contains of 5 songs plus one instrumental song.


6. HENRY – IT’S YOU (WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING OST)

Henry Lau is a Hong Kong-Canadian singer, rapper, dancer, actor, and composer. He was born in 11 October 1989. He debuted in 2008 as the member of Super Junior. It’s You was his song that was released in 2017 and was the soundtrack of While You Were Sleeping.



7. PARK HYUNGSIK – I’LL BE HERE (HWARANG OST)

Aside for being an actor, Park Hyung Shik was also a singer. He was born in 16 November 1991. He is a member of ZE:A (South Korean boy group). He was doing his career since 2010. I’ll Be Here was released on 2017. He was the singer and also the actor for Hwarang TV Show. Another song from Park Hyung Shik is Because Of You (Strong Woman Do Bong Soon).


8. SOYOU (SISTAR) ft. BROTHER SU – YOU DON’T KNOW ME (SHE WAS PRETTY OST)

Kang Ji Hyun or known as So You was born in 12 February 1992. She is a singer and was the former of the South Korean girl group, Sistar. While, Kim Hyung Soo or Brother Su was born in 22 December 1990. He was a singer that was active his career since 2010. Both of them were singing for You Don’t Know Me soundtrack from She Was Pretty in 2015.


9. PARK SEO JOON – LETTING YOU GO (KILL ME HEAL ME OST)

Same thing with Park Hyungshik, Park Seo Joon was also a singer and an actor. Park Seo Joon with her latest drama, Why Secretary Kim was singing Letting You Go song, for his own drama, Kill Me Heal Me. Park Seo Joon was born in 16 December 1988. He was active being actor since 2011. Aside from Letting You Go, he also sings for Our Tears (Hwarang OST) and A Long Journey (She Was Pretty).



10. MIND U – I’LL COME IN (EULACHACHA WAIKIKI OST)

Mind U is a South Korean duo formed in 2013. The member from Mind U is Jaehee and Godak. They were active being a singer of Ballad and Indie Folk since 2013. I’ll Come In is one of their song for Eulachacha Waikiki soundtrack. This song has a deep meaning on it and was so suitable for the TV show.



11. SEOHYUN (SNSD) – I’LL BE WAITING (FASHION KING OST)

Seo Ju Hyun was born in 28 June 1991. She was a singer and an actress and is a member of Girls’ Generation and TTS in August 2007. She was active with her career since 2007 and she is one of the artists from SM Entertainment agency. I’ll Be Waiting is her song that was released in 2014 for Fashion King OST.



12. SEO YOUNG EUN – CAN’T FORGET YOU (49 DAYS OST)

Seo Young Eun is a singer that was born in 22 July 1973. She has been singing for the soundtrack for a lot of Korean TV show. Can’t Forget You was released in 2014. Other song from Seo Young Eun is Snow Flower (Sorry I Love You OST), Dreaming (Chief Kim OST) and Tears Rain (Temptation OST).



13. JEONG SE WOON – IT’S YOU (WHAT’S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM OST)

Jeong Se Woon is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He was born in 31 May 1997 and was active for his career since 2013. It’s You was his song for Why Secretary Kim OST in 2018, this song wins the Best OST in 2nd Soribada Best K-Music Awards in 2018. He is also singing for Where Stars Land OST and Wok of Love OST.



14. NEW EMPIRE – A LITTLE BRAVER (UNCONTROLABLY FOND OST)

New Empire is a rock band from Sydney, Australia. The members of this rock band are Jeremy Fowler, Kale Kneale, Kyle Lane and Nate Cairns. A Little Braver was released in 2014 and was the single from In a Breath album. New Empire was producing 4 albums which are Come with Me Tonight (2008), Come with Me Tonight (Deluxe Version) (2010), Symmetry (2011) and In a Breath (2014).



15. JEONG EUN JI – YOU ARE MY GARDEN (STRONG WOMAN DO BONG SOON OST)

My last playlist for Korean OST is You Are My Garden from Strong Woman Do Bong Soon. This is my one of favorite Korean drama. Jung Eun Ji with her sweet voice makes this song be more beautiful. She was born in 18 August 1993. She was a former of South Korean girl group, Apink. She has been singing a lot of song for Korean drama soundtrack. Reply 1997, Barefooted Friends, Saving Santa, Three Days are some of the drama that she was singing to.
